You couldn't make it up

From Newsnight Scotland, July 29

Lord George Foulkes (Labour): "The SNP are on a very dangerous tack at the moment. What they are doing is trying to build up a situation in Scotland where the services are manifestly better than south of the border in a number of areas."

Presenter: "Is that a bad thing?"

Lord George Foulkes: "No, but they are doing it deliberately."

I believe there's a verb used in Scotland to describe the current state of the Labour Party: "Foulked" as in "We're all foulked unless we get rid of big Gordon"

Come to think of it, is a stampede in favour of Miliband a milipede? And if you oppose the young upstart are you Contraband?

Why not give Miliband a chance?
After Gordon he may do well.
Nadir of support for Brown.
Knowledge of foreign affairs etc?
Every chance of winning maybe.
Resurge of Labour's prospects?
Surely time will tell.
