How the rich control politicians

This excellent insight in the Independent into how politics works at the top should be required reading for anyone who thinks that Cameron is about change. Cameron is "Blair's heir" insofar as he's sold his soul for a headline in The Sun.
One telling comment is that Cameron and Osborne seem at home with the rich and powerful as they party on their yachts and holiday in exclusive Mediterranean villas. Of course they do, they went to the same public schools and share the same social networks.

How can anyone in Wales vote for this kind of corrupt rich-boy big business tory party? In Wales the tory/Sun values of greed, deceit and privilege have no place - so why are people voting for them? Do they really believe that one can be the party of Murdoch and the party of ordinary people? NuLab tried it and failed.

I sense a touch of jealousy that Plaid are out of the depth and unable to play the big game of Westminster!

New Labour succeeded for a while remember.. Plaid haven't succeeded at gaining support other than the daily post!

Interesting that Labour Anon sees it as a game, when Westminster is saddling each and every one of us with huge debts. Funny old game...

As for the Daily Post being Plaid supporting. Taid always warned me it was a Tory paper - not sure it's changed that much.
