Plaid more effective than Lib Dems in Westminster!

Yes, that's the view of Simon Carr writing in today's Independent. This is an extract of what he had to say:

"What a relief to see Elfyn Llwyd in the House yesterday, still alive and asking questions. He's always more interesting than he looks. Tiny Plaid Cymru are a great parliamentary asset. Blair and Mittal's £2m, that was them. They kicked off Cash for Honours. The Blair Impeachment project, they did that too. Llwyd and Adam Price (they are two-thirds of their party) have probably had more effect on Parliament than the entire Liberal Democrats."

Says it all doesn't it!

A Celtic bloc is forming!
Hell of a comparison 3 Plaid MP's showing up 63 Lib Dem MP's. Bit like Wrexham Council really.

To be fair the lib dems did manage to get the Daily Sport in the members library

Plaid more effective than the Lib Dems in Westminster? And everywhere else.

Everywhere bar Wrexham Council that is...

Including Wrexham Council if last night's performance in Planning Committee is indicative of the way Lib Dem Councillors normally vote.

The Lib Dems are far better at Plaid when it comes to assaulting paramedics. Allegedly.

I think it's a bit unfair to tar everyone with the same brush. If it's Mick Bates you're referring to, then OK, he's got some problems to deal with at the moment. But the MP for that constituency - also a Liberal - is a model for all aspiring MPs. An Irishman I believe, by the name of Lembit O'Pick.

How come Marc Jones is in Plaid he told me he hated Plaid and everything they stood for when he was trying to get forward wales off the ground.

A bit slow off the mark there, Anonymous, or should that be slow off the marc.

That's ancient history now: Forward Wales is deceased, John Marek has forged links with John Humberstone (anyone know why?) and Marc Jones has found his true home.
