Seven years ago...

Seven years ago today two busloads of us went down from Wrecsam to join the mass march in London against plans for war against Iraq. The million-strong march failed miserably to make any impression on Blair, who today stands condemned as a war criminal who took the UK to war on a tissue of lies and deception.
He is making millions from his speaking tours and memoirs while thousands of young soldiers he sent to fight for "queen and country" lie dead and maimed, along with countless thousands of innocent Iraqis.
I've never been on a demo so huge that central London stopped. Despite marching for hours in the freezing weather, we arrived at Hyde Park just as the last speaker was packing up.
As Spike Milligan would say, Tony Blair - my part in his downfall.
