Heard that Burnham a bit too close to the Tories. If elected this will cause a big rift in the coalition in Wrexham. It will be interesting to see who will come out of it as top dog, David Bithell or Mark Pritchard?

North Wales council's could lose two leaders if Dyfed Edwards leader of Gwynedd gets top spot on Plaid Cymru's regional list.
If Dyfed and Aled win it will be the first time Rhosllanerchrugog have produced two national politicians since the two brother's James Idwal and T W Jones were Labour MP's for Wrecsam and Merioneth in the 1950's.

Wasn't David Jones the Conservative MP for Clwyd West brought up in the Rhos area?

He was educated at Ysgol Rhiwabon so I presume it wasn't far, but how often does Jones advertise the fact he's a Wrecsam boy?

It might not matter who they choose. The regional seat is far from safe.

Lib dems probably thinking the same, they feel seat safer with Aled Roberts than Eleanor Burnham perhaps
