My favourite Christmas message.

Without doubt the one person who talked a great deal sense this Christmas was the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, who said that, "The rich are failing to 'shoulder their load.' Too right, they're not shouldering their load! Congratulations to the Archbishop for saying what needed to be said; without fearing the reaction of the ruling classes and the establishment.

The Conservative led coalition has already begun to do this by removing child benefit from the wealthiest however there needs to be a balance struck.

The fact is the government needs to address the dependancy culture in the county. Thousands are on benefits, many trapped by a system and in many cases people to choose not to aspire to better things.

I personally welcome the governments aims to increase the aspiration of our nation.

Don't disagree with you on that one but we should reduce dependancy AND look at making the wealthiest pay their dues.

The point is that we are all supposed to be in this together but were not are we?

If we are all in it together maybe Plaid Gwersyllt can take fewer holidays abroad next year, give up his executive board bonus?

What a shame these anon tories haven't got the guts to publish their views honestly - I think even Fascists would think twice about banning holidays!
