Follow link to sign a petition to abolish the Office of the Secretary of State for Wales as it is superfluous under the new constitutional settlement.

Arwyddwch y ddeiseb i ddiddymu y Swyddfa Gymreig ar y sail nad oes digon o waith i gyfiawnhau ei pharhad yn dilyn y setliad cyfansoddiadol newydd.

Unfortunately Wales needs a strong voice around the table at Westminster. You lot are moaning now.. what are you going to be like when you have no say whatsoever.

Even the scots or the Northern Irish aren't calling for abolition.

Labour and Conservatives are supporting its retention. Plaid are just pushing their separatist agenda.

On the other hand why not scrap the Wales office, then the barnett formula will never be looked at and Wales remains the poorer!

Ah, independence, the stairway to heaven.

Well even Plaid are divided on the issue of whether we need a Secretary of State for Wales.

I support Elfyn Llwyd on this one over the mad Lord of Meirionnydd any day,

Isn't it nice to have a healthy debate? Its not only the respected Lord but IWJ and the Public Accounts Committee in Westminster that are calling for a review of the office. I don't understand the view of the Tories they normally want to take the axe to anything that makes a smaller government but not this!
