No to TeamGB.

This is what Alex Ferguson had to say about Team GB:
"Speaking as a Scot I would say it is a no-no for us in case [world governing body] Fifa seizes the opportunity to try to make the home countries play together as Great Britain all the time, and we wouldn't want that,"

Blincking heck, I'm in agreement with Alex Furguson. Always thought he was some North Brit.

He seems to suggest that it's OK for Giggs to play. He's not a Scott. Plenty willing to stand up for Scotland but Wales is another matter. What happened to Glyn Davies MP who was going to say something in Parliament etc?

I'm intrigued at this paragraph:

"Having said that, Pearce made sense when he pointed out that a player like Giggs, who has missed out on playing in the major international tournaments with Wales, might welcome the opportunity to play in the Olympics as one of the over-age players."

Perhaps it needs to be pointed out that Giggs is no worse off than Beckham, Giggs never won anything with Wales anymore than Beckham did with England!
