Breaking news: Anti-fracking camp set up to protect Borras

An anti-fracking camp has been set up on the proposed site for test drilling for Coal Bed Methane at Commonwood Farm, Borras, between Wrecsam and Holt tonight.

For the latest information go to Frack-Free Wrexham on Facebook.

Practical and moral support much appreciated!

More details will be available at the public meeting being held in The Cunliffe Arms on Thursday, 23 October at 7pm.

Shame on you for associating with these cranks. They are associated with a website that implies that Planning Inspector is a paedophile. Is that Plaid's position also? Id also point out that this camp hasn't got planning permission. So Plaid councillors are aiding and abetting an unlawful development.

Please post up the website link.
Also please post up details of the law broken by this camp. They are on the land with the landowner's consent and a temporary camp doesn't need planning permission.
The standard of trolling really is disappointing these days.

How sad that people are making ridiculous none points. I am proud that Plaid Cymru have shown support to this anti fracking group and I wish them all my very best wishes.

I suspect though, that the fracking company will win, it reminds me of the GM fiasco in Wales some years back.

Anon 19:43 - if someone posts rubbish about an issue on the internet, it doesn't discredit the issue. The post you refer to describes the planning inspector as a judge. Nuff said.

If you think fracking is a good thing, fair enough. But don't try to smear anti-frackers with this sort of rubbish.

What can be done to remove WCBC Planning Officers from their jobs who believe fracking is a good idea?

The camp is not there with the farmers consent - the "protestors" opened his gate and set up without his knowledge.
I believe he is taking steps to quite rightfully evict them!
So Plaid is supporting the unlawful occupation of the land?

These people are professional protesters they are the same people that were in Bevereley and Balcombe why have they not got jobs. These fracking companies are trying to provide energy for us. We were all start complaining when we got no lights on. These protesters should be ashamed of them selves they are doing more damage to the land than the crackers.
